HELEN HOPKINS is co-founder of The Shift Theatre with Carolyn Bock and has appeared in their productions of Two Sisters and a Piano and Fred at The Dog Theatre as well as the two developmental seasons of The Girls in Grey. HELEN HOPKINS is co-founder of The Shift Theatre with Carolyn Bock and has appeared in their productions of Two Sisters and a Piano and Fred at The Dog Theatre as well as the two developmental seasons of The Girls in Grey. Hopkin's work has encompassed theatre companies including Hoy Polloy Theatre Company, La Mama, Australian Shakespeare Company, Auspicious Arts Projects, Essential Theatre, Melbourne Theatre Company and Performing Arts Projects. She played Beatrice in Australian Shakespeare Company's touring musical production of Much Ado about Nothing and performed in Karen Martin's production of The Women's Jail Project in Melbourne and Dublin. Hopkins has featured in lead roles in the films The Marey Project, Hamlet X, Ghost Paintings 1-4 and Sensitive New Age Killer (SNAK). She has written two other plays, a version of The Frog Prince with Matthew Ahern and the story of the Chirnside family, Grind and Grandeur, for Werribee Mansion. See less
