Heidi Holder

Heidi Holder lives in New York City. She is a self-taught artist whose first illustraions appeared in AESOP'S FABLES (1981), an ALA Notable Book. She has had a lifelong love of animals, and began illustrating them purely for her own enjoyment. She also illustrated THE MOUSEWIFE by Rumor Godden (1982), CROWS: AN OLD RHYME (1987), and CARMINE THE CROW (1992).
