Harry M. Walker had never seen an outhouse before he came to Alaska in 1975 to canoe the Yukon River. Harry now lives in Anchorage with his wife, Sally. For nearly 40 years he has roamed the world with his camera. His work has appeared in such publications as the National Geographic, the New York Times, and Audubon magazine. He has published four books about Alaska.
