Hans Mehl

Dr Hans Mehl served for 36 years as an engineering officer in the former East German Navy. Since 1986 he has been Director of the Shipbuilding Science Department at Rostock University during which time he has published a number of papers and books on technical aspects of naval shipbuilding. He is a member of the committee of the German Society for Maritime and Naval History.
