Hagit Attiya

Hagit Attiya is a Professor in the Department of Computer Science at the Technion-Israel Institute of Technology. She received her Ph.D. from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem in 1987 and was a post-doctoral research associate at the Laboratory for Computer Science at MIT until 1990. She co-authored the book Distributed Computing: Fundamentals, Simulations, and Advanced Topics , published by Wiley. In 1997, Hagit served as the chair of the program committee for PODC, and she is currently the editor-in-chief of the journal Distributed Computing . See less
