Helene Frisch
Helene Frisch (b. 1940, Nantes, France) is a French astrophysicist. She studied physics and astrophysics in Paris (Universite de Paris, Ecole Normale Superieure de Sevres, Institut d'Astrophysique de Paris) and became a research scientist at Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique in 1963. She held positions with Observatoire de Paris (Meudon) and is since 1971 with Observatoire de la Cote d'Azur in Nice. Her research interests are in radiative transfer, especially spectral lines formation.
