Gordana Jovanovic Dolecek received a BS degree from the Department of Electrical Engineering, University of Sarajevo, an MSc degree from University of Belgrade, and a PhD degree from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, University of Sarajevo. Gordana Jovanovic Dolecek received a BS degree from the Department of Electrical Engineering, University of Sarajevo, an MSc degree from University of Belgrade, and a PhD degree from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, University of Sarajevo. She was professor at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, University of Sarajevo until 1993, and 1993-1995 she was with the Institute Mihailo Pupin, Belgrade. In 1995 she joined Institute INAOE, Department for Electronics, Puebla, Mexico, where she works as a full professor. During 2001-2002 and 2006 she was with Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering, University of California, Santa Barbara, as visiting researcher. on a sabbatical leave. She was also with San Diego State University as visiting researcher on a sabbatical leave in 2008-2009 and with University of California, UCLA, LA, USA in 2015-2016. She is the author of three books, editor of one book, and author/coauthor of 70 journal papers and more than 300 conferences papers. She was the Associate Editor for IEEE TCAS: II and actually she is the Associate Editor for IEEE TCAS: I and IET Signal Processing. In 2012 she received Science and Technology Puebla State award for her research work in electronics. Her research interests include digital signal processing and digital communications. She is the Senior member of IEEE, the member of Mexican Academy of Sciences, and the member of National Researcher System (SNI) Mexico. See less
