Glen Murray has pursued parallel careers as a publisher and a professional yachtsman for a great deal of his adult life. He worked in a multinational publishing company and as a freelance commissioning editor before starting his own publishing. In between times he ran away to sea and worked as a delivery/charter skipper and sailing instructor in many parts of the world he but has a particular fondness for the West Coast of Scotland.
