Getatchew Haile , Ph.D. (1962), Eberhard Karls Universit�t T�bingen, is a Corresponding Fellow of the British Academy, and Cataloguer Emeritus of Oriental Manuscripts at the Hill Museum & Manuscript Library, Saint John's University, Minnesota. He has published several monographs, translations and many articles on Ethiopic (G ' z) and Amharic grammar and literature.
