Gert Buelens is Professor of English and American Literature at the Department of Literary Studies, Ghent University. He is also the editor of Enacting History in Henry James (1997), and co-editor of The Catastrophic Imperative (2009), The Future of Trauma Theory (2013) and The Cambridge Handbook of Literary Authorship (2019).
