Gerard Allt and his partner run the "I Knit London" shop and sanctuary for knitters. Through I Knit, Gerard has been involved in many charity knitting projects including a project with Water Aid that mobilized knitters worldwide to create a knitted petition to raise awareness for those without access to safe water.
