He is an accomplished violinist, having played in several symphony orchestras and is currently first violinist of the Allegro String Quartet. His interests in antiques have led him to a secondary career conserving, appraising, writing, and lecturing about antique glass paperweights. He has had four books published: a historical mystery novel, "The Curse of the Imperial Paperweights," and three books on the identification of antique paperweights. George and his wife journeyed to Venice on three different occasions to gather materials for his fifth book, "Wheel of God." See less
