George Lindsey
George Lindsey, a native of Jasper, Alabama, is a noted stage, screen, nightclub, and television actor. His most famous role was that of Goober on the television classic "The Andy Griffith Show" and later on "Mayberry RFD". He also was a regular on the hit television show "HeeHaw". Mr. Lindsey currently performs his comedy standup act all over the United States and is the host of the Emmy Award-winning "Liars & Legends" for the Turner South cable network.
