Geoffrey West Geoffrey West studied at Cambridge University, Westfield College (University of London), and Queen's University (Kingston, Ontario), and has taught Spanish language and literature at several British universities. He is now Head of the Hispanic Section of the British Library, where he has particular responsibility for modern books from Spain and the collections in Basque and Galician. As well as publishing articles on medieval Spanish literature and history, he is interested in the language and culture of the regions of the Peninsula.
