Geoffrey Becker

GEOFFREY BECKER is the author of Black Elvis, which received the 2008 Flannery O'Connor Award for Short Fiction. He is also the author of one previous collection, Dangerous Men , and the novels Hot Springs and Bluestown . E. L. Doctorow selected "Black Elvis'' for The Best American Short Stories 2000 . Becker is a professor of English at Towson University.
