Gavin Levy has over twenty years of theatre experience, including acting, instructing, directing, and writing. Levy desires to share his knowledge in learning the craft of acting in ways that adapt to the needs of our modern culture and audience. Levy is a native Londoner who came to the United States in 1999. He received his ALAM from the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts and is a graduate of the Academy of Live and Recorded Arts. From October 1992 through July 1995, Mr. Levy studied theatre at the world-renowned Academy of Live & Recorded Arts. Levy worked alongside Paul Gleason at the Paul G. Gleason Theatre on Hollywood Blvd for many years. Levy instructed at the American National Academy in Studio City, California, led guest workshops at several organizations, including the Creative Actors Alliance, and has led master classes, including with colleague Paul Gleason for Women in Film. Levy's first book, 112 Acting Games, was published by Meriwether Publishing in 2005. Since then, he has also published 275 Acting Games: Connected, Acting for Love & Money, and Acting Games for Individual Performers. See less
