Author and adventurist, Gary Tillman, has explored Arizona's wild lands for over half-a-century, and brings this rich experience to his western books. He has deep ties to the western tradition. His father rode broncos on the rodeo circuit, broke wild horses and eventually became a western artist. Gary Tillman's love for the west runs in his blood. Gary has traveled, explored, and photographed the world, from the bottom of the Grand Canyon, rafting the rapids of the Colorado River, to the top of the Andes, hiking the Inca Trail in Peru. When he's not writing, Gary hits the speedway, racing professionally. He has enjoyed racing many vehicles, from MGs and Shelby GT350s to 427 Corvettes, as well as stock cars and motorcycles. See less
