Gaby Goldsack lives in rural Wiltshire with her husband, baby boy, 2 horses, 2 dogs and 4 chickens. She has been writing and editing children's books for over 20 years. Before becoming a freelance editor and writer in 1995, she worked as a non-fiction editor for Scholastic and Hodder Headline. Over the years she has written everything from short stories and picture books to information and activity books. Although she enjoys tackling a wide-range of non-fiction subjects, her primary interest lies in history in which she has a degree. Illustrator Lee Montgomery lives in Bath, in the UK. Originally from Hampshire, Lee was trained as a technical draughtsman, before finding his feet in the more colorful world of illustration. He produces work for advertising, packaging and magazine editorials as well as children's books. He began his career as a watercolour artist, but these days produces his work entirely digitally. Also, illustrations for children's books, concept illustration and storyboards for both live action and animation.
