Gunes Murat Tezcur

Gunes Murat Tezcur is the Jalal Talabani Chair and Professor at the School of Politics, Security, and International Affairs at the University of Central Florida. He is also the founder of UCF's Kurdish Political Studies Program, the first and only program of its kind in North America. He is a social scientist studying political violence, religious politics, democratization, and human security with a focus on Iranian, Kurdish, and Turkish human geography.
