Freyda Spira

Spira received her bachelor's degree from Barnard College and her master's degree from Columbia University, and is currently working towards a doctorate in art history at the University of Pennsylvania. Her dissertation addresses the rise of portraiture in the court of Frederick the Wise of Germany. She has also worked in the print room of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, at the National Holocaust Memorial Museum, and at C.G. Boerner/Artemis Fine Arts Gallery.
