Frank Tavares has been writing his entire professional life but only began publishing fiction in the mid-2000s. Carving out time before daylight, he's written more than a dozen short stories that have been published in a variety of literary journals including Louisiana Literature, Connecticut Review, Story Quarterly, and The GW Review. In his day job, Frank is a professor of communication at Southern Connecticut State University. He is also one of the founding editors and active member of the editorial board of The Journal of Radio and Audio Media. For many years, he's also been known to listeners of National Public Radio as "The Voice of NPR." Frank is just completing his first novel.
