Firdous Ahmad Malik , an accomplished economist from India, is currently an Assistant Professor of Economics in the Department of Management at the University of the People. Dr. Malik earned his Ph.D. and MPhil in Economics from Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University, Lucknow, and holds a Master's in Economics from the University of Kashmir. His research focuses on microfinance, financial inclusion, and financial literacy, with numerous publications from Springer, Elsevier, and Taylor & Francis in Scopus-indexed journals. He is an active member of international organizations such as the Young Scholars Initiative (YSI), where he promotes research among young scholars. His dedication has earned him several awards, including the Best Paper Presentation Award from the Jindal Centre for Global South and the Best Reviewer Award at the AIBPM Malaysian Conference in 2023.
