Fethiye Cetin

Fethiye Cetin is a Turkish human-rights lawyer who has represented, among others, Hrant Dink, the Turkish-Armenian journalist assassinated in Istanbul in January 2007. This is her first book. Maureen Freely's translations include Orhan Pamuk's "Snow and Istanbul: Memories of a City". Elif Shafak is the author of "The Flea Palace" and, most recently, "The Bastard of Istanbul".
