Felipe Hernandez is an Architect and Director of the MPhil in Architecture and Urban Studies at the Department of Architecture at the University of Cambridge, UK. He is also Fellow Architect and Director of Studies at King's College Cambridge. Felipe is the Founder and Chair of Cities South of Cancer (CSC), an interdisciplinary Research Group investigating urban transformation in the Developing World. He is the author of Bhabha for Architects (2010) and Beyond Modernist Masters: Contemporary Architecture in Latin America (2009). He is also co-editor of Rethinking the Informal City: Critical Perspectives from Latin America (2009) and Transculturation: Cities, Spaces and Architectures in Latin America (2005).Axel Becerra is the Director of the Master in Advanced Design at Universidad Michoacana de San Nicolas de Hidalgo, Mexico. He was Director of Urban Planning and Director of Metropolitan Planning for the State of Michoacan, and remains a practicing architect. He received both his MA in Advanced Architectural Design and his PhD in Design from the University of Sheffield, UK. Between 2013 and 2015 he was a Post-Doctoral Fellow in Urban Design at the Graduate School of Design at Harvard University.
