Evan Imber-Black, Ph.D., is Director of the Center for Families and Health at the Ackerman Institute for the Family, Professor of Psychiatry at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York, and past president of the American Family Therapy Academy. She is author or editor of many books, including The Secret Life of Families, and Rituals for Our Times.
