Ernst Neufert

Ernst Neufert was a German urban planner and one-time Bauhaus student. He worked on various projects with Walter Gropius and was later named chief architect of his firm. At age 26, he became a professor and the director of the construction department at the Bauhaus, with a directorship at the University of Jena coming shortly thereafter. He is the author of Das Jahr in Spanien .
