Hofer is the Regents Professor of Strategy and Entrepreneurship at the University of Georgia's Terry College of Business. His numerous writings include Strategic Formulation: Analytic Concepts--named in 1992 as one of the five most significant textbooks in strategic management--and articles in the Harvard Business Review, the Journal of Business Strategy, and the Journal of Business Venturing.
