Emily Steele Jackson was born and raised in the United States, but has spent most of her adult years in other countries, primarily China. Her experiences overseas led to her writing the popular and humorous expat blog, Small Town Laowai. Emily enjoys traveling, gardening, and hiking. She lives with her husband, two kids, and Siberian husky in Tucson, Arizona. Home, James is her first book for young readers.
