Elke P Frederiksen

ELKE FREDERIKSEN is Associate Professor at the University of Maryland, College Park. She has published Die Frauenfrage in Deutschland 1865-1915 , and a book on Austrian writer Franz Grillparzer. Her numerous articles focus on individual authors in nineteenth-and-twentieth-century German literature and on German Women's Social and Literary History in the nineteenth and twentieth centuries. She was selected Distinguished Scholar-Teacher at the University of Maryland in 1986.
