Elizabeth Deeks

Elizabeth Deeks was born in Edinburgh in 1937 and educated at five primary schools in Scotland and England, and then secondary schools in Bath and Hampstead. She gained a BSc in Geography and a PGCE from Leicester University and went on to teach in Tottenham. She completed a Certificate in Religious Knowledge (CRK) and recalls that her brother then jokingly referred to her as a 'Certified Religious 'Know-all' !!
