Elizabeth Claman holds an MA in English/Creative Writing (San Francisco State University) and a PhD in Comparative Literature (University of Oregon). Since retiring from teaching, she has published both poetry (WHERE THE WOMEN ARE FLYING) and fiction (THE PRODIGAL WIFE and IDENTITY BLUES). She lives in Richmond, California.
