She has published memoir and non-fiction short stories about overcoming personal and workplace adversities. She hopes her book about Dusty Roads inspires her readers to be resolute in defending the freedoms and civil rights women seem to be losing in our country today. Elaine is a member of various writers, history, and womens organizations, a former vice-president of the California Writers ClubRedwood Branch, and was co-chair of their 2018 Pen to Published Writers Conference.
