Eduardo R. del Río was born in Havana, Cuba, and grew up in San Juan, Puerto Rico. He holds a Ph.D. in English Literature, and is an NEH Fellow. He is the editor of The Prentice Hall Anthology of Latino Literature and One Island Many Voices: Interviews with Cuban-American Writers from The University of Arizona Press.
