A VISCOUNT'S VENGEANCE garnered the Best Indie Book Award for Regency Romance as well in 2023.Previously, she published short stories, poems, and non-fiction in small presses. She co-wrote and starred in several short films and documentaries from MadLaw Media, including "Big 5 Dive" about scuba diving in the Great Lakes, and "How to Be Sexy," a fictional short about confidence and self-worth.She obtained dual BAs in Creative Writing and in Music from Cal State East Bay, and her MFA in Creative Writing from University of Alaska Anchorage. She has been a professional musician, bookstore employee, and a healthcare worker.She has participated in several anthologies, including Unlocked, The Grand Mistletoe Assembly, and the upcoming Beneath the Midwinter Moon.She is a founding member of the historical fiction collective The Paper Lantern Writers, and helps edit and publish their anthologies. She gives presentations at conferences around the world on the history of women's boxing and other aspects of Regency culture and writing.In addition to fiction, Edie writes and reviews for the Historical Novel Society.
