Bishop Edward Houston Stephens, Jr. has pastored Golden Gate Cathedral of Memphis for more than thirty years. Bishop Stephens received a Bachelor's in Biblical Studies from Crichton College and is an alumnus of Harvard University's Leadership Institute. Bishop Edward Houston Stephens, Jr. has pastored Golden Gate Cathedral of Memphis for more than thirty years. Bishop Stephens received a Bachelor's in Biblical Studies from Crichton College and is an alumnus of Harvard University's Leadership Institute. With an Honorary Doctorate from St. Thomas Christian College, Bishop Ed currently serves as a member of the Bishop's Council for the Full Gospel Baptist Church Fellowship and the Bishop of the Central Region. He is a board member for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, the Tennessee Board of Judicial Conduct, and the Tennessee Assistance for Needy Families. He is the visionary behind STAR Academy, a proud member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, an accomplished author, and a national recording artist. Bishop Stephens and Elder Beverly, his wife, are the proud parents of three sons, Edward III, Eron, and Evan. They have eight grandchildren. See less
