Dylan Horrocks is the author of the graphic novels Hicksville and Sam Zabel and the Magic Pen, the comics collection Incomplete Works, and the comic book series Pickle and Atlas. In the 1990s, he drew an ongoing comic strip for the NZ Listener, 'Milo's Week, ' and his comics and illustrations have been published in books, magazines and newspapers around the world. He has also written Batgirl for DC Comics and Hunter: the Age of Magic for Vertigo and his prose short story 'Steam Girl' was included in The Year's Best Science Fiction and Fantasy and won the Sir Julius Vogel Award for Best Novella.
