Born in Manhattan, Dr. Warshak grew up in Brooklyn, New York, graduated from Midwood High School at the age of sixteen, and earned his undergraduate degree from Cornell University. Dr. Warshak received his PhD from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, where he is now a clinical professor of psychology. He sits on the editorial board of three professional journals.
