Dr. John McDonough is both a family nurse practitioner as well as certified registered nurse anesthetist. He is currently a full professor and School of Nursing Associate Director for Graduate Studies at the University of North Florida where he is responsible for all MSN and DNP programs. Dr. McDonough clinical and academic experiences include such areas as practice in large urban and small rural communities in both and teaching in both nursing and medical school in the United States and Europe. In addition to his civilian experience, he is a retired U.S. Army Nurse Corps officer having served in times of both peace and conflict. See less
