Kenneth D. Moore is Dean of Teachers College at Henderson State University. He received his Ed.D. degree in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Houston. Kenneth D. Moore is Dean of Teachers College at Henderson State University. He received his Ed.D. degree in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Houston. Dr. Moore has been involved in teacher education for more than 30 years at both the public school and higher education levels. During his tenure he has worked closely with school administrators, classroom teachers, student teachers, and teacher education candidates. He has traveled extensively serving as accreditation consultant and conducting workshops. Dr. Moore has authored three books, numerous journal publications, an ERIC monograph, and has presented many papers at regional and national conventions. Dr. Moore has also served as director of the Southwest Regional Association of Teachers of Science, President of the Oklahoma Association of Teacher Educators, and President of the Oklahoma Association of Colleges for Teacher Education. Dr. Moore is presently involved in educational reform and authentic assessment and serves on the NCATE Board of Examiners (BOE). The texts he has authored include Classroom Teaching Skills 5/e (McGraw-Hill); Clinical Supervision: a Practical Guide to Student Teacher Supervision (co-authored) (McGraw-Hill), and Middle and Secondary Instructional Methods (McGraw-Hill).
