Gordon E. Harvey is the L.M. McKneely Professor of Humanities and an Assistant Professor of History at the University of Louisiana at Monroe, where he has taught since 1999. In 1998, he taught on a visiting appointment at AuburnUniversity, where he also received his Ph.D. In 1992, he earned a B.S. in Education and, in 1994, a M.A. in History from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
