Dr. George Fitchett, DMin, PhD, BCC, ACPE Supervisor , is an associate professor and the director of research in the Department of Religion, Health, and Human Values, Rush University Medical Center, Chicago, Illinois. He has been a certified chaplain (Association of Professional Chaplains) and pastoral supervisor (Association for Clinical Pastoral Education) for more than thirty years. Since 1990 he has been involved in research examining the relationship between religion and health in a variety of community and clinical populations.
