Dr. Emera

Deena Emera, PhD, is an evolutionary geneticist, writer, and educator. She earned a bachelor's degree from UC Berkeley, a master's degree from NYU, and a PhD from Yale. She currently serves as a scientist and writer-in-residence at the world-renowned Buck Institute's Center for Female Reproductive Longevity and Equality. She lives in the San Francisco Bay Area with her family.
