Donald R. Atkinson is Professor of Education in the combined Counseling, Clinical, and School Psychology program at the University of California, Santa Barbara. He is a co-author of Counseling American Minorities: A Cross-Cultural Perspective (now in its 5th edition), Counseling Non-Ethnic American Minorities, and Counseling Diverse Populations (now in its 2nd edition), and author or co-author of over 130 journal articles, most of which report the results of research on cultural variables in counseling.
