Sackeena Gordon-Jones is president and Chief Coaching Officer for Transformation Edge, a Coaching and Consulting practice. She works with leaders who want to transform the way the lead and live. She holds the credential of Professional Certified Coach (PCC) with the International Coach Federation (ICF). Sackeena especially enjoys working with women and leaders who are intentional about leading change and living their legacy. Her coaching facilitates personal transformation for leaders, which creates a ripple effect. She has coached leaders in both public and private sectors, throughout five continents. An award winning leader in the coaching field, Sackeena has served as two-time president of the ICF Raleigh Chapter, leading the chapter to winning the Internationally recognized 'Breaking Barriers' award. She is the current Chair of the NC Community Coaching Outreach, leading the chapter to winning the inaugural international 'Gift of Coaching' award. Sackeena is also a professional coach trainer, and serves as the director of the Business Coaching Certificate Program at NC State University. Additionally, she is a keynote speaker, and holds leadership retreats, as well as, customized leadership and coaching workshops for corporations, non-profit and faith-based organizations. In addition to her coaching experience and credentials, Sackeena has over 20 years of relevant executive level business, leadership and board experience in private, public and non-profit sectors. She has worked with organizations and teams to deliver leadership and talent development focused on creating a sustainable culture of engagement, through transformational leadership practices. Before launching her private practice, Sackeena was head of Learning and Development for a multi-national company, where she had oversight of leadership development in the global regions, which include EMEA, Asia Pacific, North and South America. She has completed advanced studies in leadership, strategy, change management, human development and behavior, theology, neuroscience of coaching, organization development, and Philosophy, and holds a B.S. in Computer Science, M.A. in Theology and a Ph.D. in Leadership. Sackeena is the author of 'The Art and Practice of Transformational Leadership'. For several years she served alongside her husband as Co-Pastor of Bethel Christian Life Center. See less
