Donald Anderson McGavran
McGavran has served as a missionary to India for thirty-six years under the United Christian Missionary Society. He has taught missions in the United States since 1957 and was the founding dean of the School of World Mission and Institute of Church Growth of Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, CA. Dr. McGavran has a B.D. from Yale Divinity School and a Ph.D. from Teachers College, Columbia University. He is the father of the Church Growth Movement.
