Don Burt

Don Burt served as president of the American Quarter Horse Association and was a recipient of the US Equestrian Federation's lifetime achievement award. He was an experienced writer and a featured columnist for the American Quarter Horse Journal . His wrote several books, including Horses and Other Heroes , Winning with the American Quarter Horse , and Winning with Arabian Horses . He lived with his wife, Ardys, in Rancho Palos Verdes, California.
