Following MD studies, Dr. Kombogiorgas obtained the Membership of Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (MRCSEd) and conducted post-graduated research in Neurooncology (Posterior Fossa Tumors in Childhood - Medulloblastoma) at Child's Institute of Birmingham Childrens' Hospital, U.K. He appointed as Hon. Lecturer in the Division of Neuroscience Neurology at University of Birmingham and obtained the Master of Philosophy (MPhil) in Clinical Neurosciences at University of Birmingham.
