Born on 05 November 1947 in the Dhenkanal District of Odisha, Sri Dilliswar Moharana, as an actor, director and dramatist established his unique identity and talent at State and National levels of drama festivals and competitions. He has been conferred with the "Odidha Sangeet Natak Akademi Award - 2002", for his outstanding contribution in the sphere of direction in Odia plays and "Odisha Sahitya Akademi Award - 2004" for his play Bartta (The Message). He is the founder President of "Kalaparishad, Dhenkanal", a drama institution, which has been consecutively honoured with medals and accolades at State and National Levels and created a havoc in the contemporary dramaturgical world.
