McAllister, her start was in Miami, Florida, surrounded by beaches and the Everglades.But the marvels of television transported her to stories of the West-Bonanza, Gunsmoke, The Virginian, and many others-that she fondly recalls watching with her brother every Saturday morning.After being in the working world for some years, Denise F. McAllister applied her life experience to study for degrees in communications and professional writing. She loved going back to college later in life and hardly ever skipped a class as in her younger years.Denise credits her love of horseback riding and 15 years of showing in Atlanta, Georgia for her heartfelt connection to all things Western.Denise's faith is important to her and she loves to write about characters' journeys as they navigate real-world challenges.
