Dawn Eden is the award-winning author of Remembering God's Mercy, as well as The Thrill of the Chaste: Finding Fulfillment While Keeping Your Clothes On (Catholic Edition), and My Peace I Give You: Healing Sexual Wounds with the Help of the Saints. Born into a Jewish family in New York City, Eden lost her faith as a teenager and became an agnostic. During the 1990s, she worked as a rock journalist in New York City, interviewing oldies and classic rock performers. She went on to work for the New York Post and the Daily News . At age thirty-one, Eden underwent a dramatic conversion to Christianity, seeking Baptism as a Protestant; six years later, she entered the Catholic Church. She wrote the original edition of The Thrill of the Chaste while Protestant; its international success led her to revise it from a Catholic perspective in 2015. Both The Thrill of the Chaste and Eden's 2012 book on healing from childhood sexual abuse, My Peace I Give You , have been featured in the New York Times and on numerous EWTN programs. Eden received her pontifical licentiate in sacred theology from the Dominican House of Studies in 2014 and her canonical doctorate in sacred theology at the University of St. Mary of the Lake in 2016. She teaches theology at St. Mary's College, Oscott, in Birmingham, England, and will be teaching dogmatic theology at the Holy Apostles College and Seminary beginning in the fall of 2017.
